Western Balkans: connecting infrastructures, economies and people

Well connected transport and energy networks, both within the region and with the neighboring EU member states are crucial for sustainable economic growth of the Western Balkans, which is a precondition for the EU membership. As part of an ambitious plan to connect Europe from East to West, and from North to South, we are extending the Trans-European Transport Network to the Western Balkans and connecting local electricity markets within the region, and with the EU.
