More effective methods of diagnosis and more personalised treatments

An EU- and industry-funded project has validated a series of tests for cancer cells to help develop more effective methods of diagnosis and more personalised treatments for lung and breast cancer - two of the most frequent malignancies in Europe. These liquid biopsies can help to diagnose cancer in its early stages, and assist clinicians in monitoring the impact of treatment at any point.
