New energy efficiency labels to better inform consumers

As ‘energy efficiency first’ is a central principle of the Energy Union strategy, the EU's adopted new energy efficiency labels for 6 product groups - five of them most consumers own at home - : dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, lamps, electronic displays and refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function. Clearer and simple energy labels will help consumers save money and contribute to the implementation of the circular economy.
