Brexit: European Commission takes stock of preparations

Ahead of the June European Council meeting, the European Commission took stock of preparations in case of no-deal Brexit. The measures taken by the Commission to prepare for Brexit remain fit for purpose. A ‘no-deal’ scenario on 1 November 2019 very much remains a possible, although undesirable, outcome.
