Combating air pollution

Through an EU funding scheme, Poland’s Małopolska region is combating air pollution from within the household. So far, 27,000 boilers have been replaced. The EU is helping improve air quality and reduce pollution from households. More than 500,000 polluting coal-fired stoves are being replaced in southern Poland.
