The EU is working around the clock to channel emergency assistance. In the wake of devastating floods in Slovenia and relentless wildfires in Cyprus, both countries activated the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The first list of needs has already been dispatched to our member states, asking for mostly heavy machinery and engineering units to operate them. EU countries including Germany, Greece and France are already providing assistance. Cyprus and Slovenia can count on EU Solidarity!
