This year we are celebrating 40 years of 🇪🇺 science and innovation programmes. 🔭 Over the years, the EU has invested about €283 billion in research. 🏆More than 30 Nobel Prizes have been won by EU-funded researchers. 👩‍🔬 More than 120,000 grants have been provided to about 75,000 beneficiaries. Now, what’s next? The EU's ambitious Horizon Europe programme will continue to support research and innovation with a budget of €93.5 billion until 2027. It will focus on tackling climate change, achieving sustainable development goals and boosting the EU’s competitiveness.
