Today is #WorldHabitatDay 🏞️Europe has a stunning diversity of wild animals, plants and habitats, many of which are not found anywhere else in the world.However, over 1/4 of Europe’s animal species are at risk of extinction and 81% of the EU habitats are in poor status ⚠️To protect biodiversity, the 🇪🇺 #NatureRestoration Law aims to restore at least 20% of the EU’s land and sea areas by 2030, and ultimately all ecosystems in need of restoration by 2050.
