In the margins of the Transport, Telecommunications, and Energy Council of 16 June, the Commission and the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union launched the hashtag#EnergyUnion Task Force ⚡️The Task Force will consist of high-level representatives from the Commission and EU countries, and work towards enhancing cooperation on priority energy issues.This is one of the key deliverables of the Affordable Energy Action Plan – launched in February 2025 – and will focus on key areas such as accelerating connectivity, improving grid planning between EU countries, and optimising the use of energy infrastructure.
