The EU wants to make cars more circular and sustainable. The European Commission has proposed new rules to improve the design, production, and recycling of vehicles, including:- More recycled plastic in new cars - Easier dismantling of old cars - Better recovery of raw materials - More responsibility for producers - More transparency and enforcement.
Greece is facing a wildfire crisis as dozens of blazes rage across the country. The EU is stepping up to help with planes, teams and vehicles from France, Italy, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. They join the pre-deployed forces from Romania, Bulgaria and Malta.The EU is ready to provide more support if needed.
