New brain cancer treatments in the EU
Slovenia helps seek new brain cancer treatments. An EU-funded project is developing a platform for the sharing and exchange of glioblastoma samples in a bid to help patients suffering from this particularly aggressive form of brain cancer. The project will develop an interregional European electronic and physical biobank of glioblastoma samples to be used in research. It will aim to help the discovery and development of new biomarkers, medicines, delivery systems and targeted therapies.
