The FuelEU Maritime Regulation aims to reduce the greenhouse gas intensity of fuels used by the shipping sector from 2% in 2025 to as much as 80% by 2050. The Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation aims to increase the availability of recharging and refuelling stations for alternative fuels along the EU’s main transport corridors.
