The EU mobilises assistance for wildfires in Madeira.Following Portugal’s activation of the #EUCivilProtection Mechanism, the European Commission has deployed 2 Canadair planes from the #rescEU reserve in Spain to support the emergency response.The Copernicus emergency satellite system has also been activated to provide maps.#EUSolidarity is in action
