The 2nd list of Projects of Common Interest and Projects of Mutual Interest is published! It outlines 235 ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ-๐›๐จ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฌ which will strengthen energy connectivity across the continent, bringing nearer the completion of the Energy Union.⚡ nearly half of them are electricity, offshore and smart electricity grid projects, that will be essential for integrating the growing share of renewables ⚡ 100 hydrogen and electrolyser, as well as 3 smart gas grids projects, will help decarbonise EU industry and transport and replace the use of natural gas in the EU ⚡ 17 CO2 network projects are also included, in line with EU goals to create a market for carbon capture and storageTogether with the Grids Package and the Energy Highways Initiative, the new PCI & PMI list will further accelerate Europe's energy infrastructure, tackle cross-border energy infrastructure bottlenecks and increase the overall resilience of the EU's energy system
