With over 15,000 projects funded by Horizon Europe since 2023, the EU has invested €43 billion to boost research and innovation, including: 🚍 Fuel cell electric buses in European cities 💊 New antibiotics 🌡️ Tackling the climate crisis To build on that potential, the EU is investing more than €7.3 billion this year to tackle key challenges, such as security and the clean transition. The EU is committed to enshrining scientific freedom in EU law, creating a 7-year ‘super grant’ to attract top researchers, and expanding support for the most promising scientists.
